If you’re living or working abroad, or have recently, we’re inviting you to sign up for our new online mentoring group, Connecting Internationally. It was designed to help Penn Arts & Sciences students explore careers abroad, allowing them to connect with alums around the globe. Register to offer career advice, mentorship, and tips on working outside the U.S.

“Penn Arts & Sciences has a large and wonderful population of alums located abroad, from India to China to Europe and beyond,” says Chrissy Bowdren, senior associate director of volunteer programs. “Many of our students dream about working abroad; this group will give them a pathway to receive practical tips and advice from graduates and build new connections among the Arts & Sciences community.”

Connecting Internationally will be contained within the Penn Arts & Sciences virtual mentorship platform, Ben Connect. Students will be able to search within the group to find alum mentors. Students interested in your professional experience will be able to request a virtual meeting through the platform. The goal of this program is to create one place for students to find alums for one-off mentorship.
