How can a major in classical studies major lead to a finance career? Just ask Simeon Esprit, C’16. Simeon and three other College alumni discussed their unique paths to the financial field in the latest College Alumni Mentoring Series (CAMS) event, held virtually on January 25. CAMS events invite College alumni to talk with students about their career journeys and how their College experience has been a part of that. Forty-five students took part in the finance event, which featured:

Lindsay Balow, C’15, Prime Brokerage Product Development at Goldman Sachs. Lindsay majored in communications and public services with minors in political science and French.

Simeon Esprit, C’16, Financial Planner at Prudential Financial. Simeon majored in classical studies.

Alex Meyer, C’16, Senior Associate at Certares Management LLC. Alex majored in economics and minored in Africana studies.

Kha Trinh, C’11, Vice President of US Capital Management at TD Bank. Kha majored in history.

Future CAMS mentorship events will focus on “Beyond the M.D.” and “Cultural Institutions.”
