The Penn Lightbulb Café—an event designed to illuminate research in social science, arts and humanities—hosts John Lapinski, associate professor of political science and director of Penn’s Program on Opinion Research and Election Studies (PORES).

Lapinski provides an overview of the 2016 presidential race from a unique perspective. As director of the National Elections Unit at NBC, Lapinski projects races for the network and analyzes and produces election-related stories through exit polls for NBC News, MSNBC, CNBC, Telemundo, and NBC’s digital properties.
